Highly Qualified and Experienced Teacher of Singing, Piano, Theory, and Musicianship
UK-based Aimee, a graduate of English National Opera's 'Opera Works' training programme, studied at the University of Glasgow (MA Music 1st Class Hons, MMus Musicology by research with full scholarship) and the Royal Northern College of Music (MMus Performance with distinction), winning multiple prizes in music and languages and the grateful recipient of a number of scholarships and awards.
Commended for 'a beautifully smooth, lyrical voice' (Opera Scotland) and 'a clear stage presence' (TyneOut), her performance experience encompasses operatic soloist and chorus roles, concert work, traditional Scottish music, and many weddings and funerals. Her personable manner, additional educational qualifications, and extensive experience mean that she is also much in demand as an award-winning animateur, choir leader, and teacher, working with organisations including the National Youth Choir of Scotland, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Leeds Lieder festival, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra Junior Chorus.
Noted for her 'sparkling' delivery on-stage and a teaching style that is down to earth and encouraging, Aimee brings intelligence, fun, and a great love for music and people to every role she inhabits, both on stage and in professional life!
